This Privacy Policy explains how VisaPathways collects and uses personal information when you use the website and related digital services.

Depending on how you use the platform, VisaPathways may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number where you choose to provide it, account information, country preferences, migration preferences you voluntarily provide, search or route preferences, purchase information, transaction references and support messages.
Technical information may also be collected, including IP address, browser information, device information, site usage information, analytics information, and cookies or similar technologies.
If you subscribe to route change alerts, we collect your email address and selected alert preferences so we can manage those updates. Route alert subscriptions are not linked to refusal-risk, document-readiness or action-plan answers.
Payments
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, including PayHere. Where payment information is handled by the payment provider, VisaPathways does not receive or store complete card details.
How information may be used
VisaPathways may use information to operate the service, create and maintain user accounts, provide purchased digital services, process and verify transactions, respond to support requests, and provide relevant platform functionality.
Information may also be used to improve the product, detect fraud and abuse, protect site security, maintain transaction and operational records, comply with applicable legal obligations, and send important service-related communications.
Service providers
VisaPathways may use third-party technology providers for hosting, database infrastructure, email, analytics, security and payment processing. Those providers process information only as needed to support the service.
International processing
VisaPathways operates online and may use service providers located outside Sri Lanka. If you use the site from another country, your information may be processed in more than one location as needed to provide the service.
Data retention
Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for purposes such as providing services, keeping transaction records, security, resolving disputes, meeting legal obligations and other legitimate operational requirements.

VisaPathways uses reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Location and currency preferences
The location and currency feature only uses browser location when you grant permission. Precise location coordinates are not stored on our servers. A selected display currency may be stored locally in your browser so the site can remember your preference.
